About
Meet Christian Kelly
Real estate is not a transaction to me. It is how people land in the mountains, build a life here, and decide to stay.
Christian Kelly Realtor Story: Six Years, Seven Communities, One Reason
I am a full-time real estate professional based in Buena Vista, Colorado, working across the seven Central Colorado mountain communities I know best: Buena Vista, Salida, Leadville, Fairplay, Twin Lakes, Ranch of the Rockies, and Nathrop. The work is residential homes, land, and select investment property. The clients are first-time buyers, long-distance relocators, second-home owners, and seasoned investors. The common thread is that they want to live here, or own a piece of here, and they want a real person walking the math with them.
I came into real estate through the same door most of my clients do: I fell hard for mountain living and wanted to help other people figure out how to make it work. That sounds like a tagline. It is not. It is the actual reason. Buying out here is more complicated than buying on a Front Range cul-de-sac. Water rights, well permits, septic feasibility, snow plowing, propane delivery, the difference between a 30-minute drive in July and a 90-minute drive in January. I learned all of that the hard way, on foot, and now I use it on every transaction.
My practice is built on a balance most local agents do not offer: residential, land, and investment under one roof. If you are weighing a finished home against a piece of acreage to build on, you do not need two agents to compare the math. If you are an investor running the numbers on a short-term rental, I can pull the comparables on both the income side and the resale side. The three categories inform each other, and clients who work with me on one often come back to work on another.
I run High Rocky Living as my brand, powered by Worth Clark Realty. That pairing matters. The boutique-and-local part is the day-to-day: the personal phone number, the hand-curated MLS feed, the inspection I attend in person. The Worth Clark part is the back-end infrastructure: the legal, the marketing technology, the national referral network, the agent training. Boutique service, real brokerage backing. Neither alone would serve you as well.
What clients tell me, in their own words, is that I communicate clearly and follow through on what I say I will do. The Burns family put it bluntly: “She does what she says and says what she will do.” That is the only standard worth holding. Outside of real estate you will find me on the trails, on the Arkansas River, or with my family making memories in the mountains we get to call home.
“Christian was a fundamental part of our being able to find the right fit in Buena Vista.”

Boutique Service, National Backing
High Rocky Living is the front door. Worth Clark Realty is the structural support behind it. The brokerage operates in more than 20 states with a few hundred agents nationwide, but the model is deliberately built so each agent runs a focused, local practice rather than getting absorbed into a brand-first machine. That means you get the personal cell number, the hands-on attention, and the deep local knowledge of a boutique relationship. You also get the legal infrastructure, the marketing technology, the agent training, and the national referral pipeline of a real brokerage.
The agreement Worth Clark and I have is simple: they invest in the back-end so I can spend my time on the front-end, which is you. The result is a refined, results-driven experience where every property is positioned with intention, every contract is reviewed by a team with real depth, and every transaction lands the way it is supposed to.

Where My Practice Goes Deep
Single-family homes, townhomes, cabins, and mountain estates across the seven Central Colorado communities I serve. Most of my volume sits here, and most of the relationships start here.
Buildable acreage, build sites, and long-hold land in Chaffee, Lake, and Park counties. I walk every parcel with the buildability checklist in hand: water rights, septic feasibility, road access, setbacks, slope, county zoning.
Short-term rentals, long-hold appreciation plays, and select commercial. The income math, the regulatory landscape, and the resale comparables all matter, and I pull all three before you write an offer.
A real share of my practice. I take the time to explain the process in plain language, connect you with a local lender who can structure the right loan, and stay in the deal through inspection and underwriting without rushing you.
Roughly a third of my buyers are out of state. Video walk-throughs, FaceTime from the well house, photo passes that catch the things the listing photos hide, and a written follow-up after every showing. The Herzog family bought sight-mostly-unseen and called the process incredible. That is the bar.
